W2W’s Sophia Burns wins two!!
Burning up the roads in May, Sophia Burns wins back-to-back 5K races in the Women’s division two weekends in a row! Her victory at the History Hustle 5K (19:34) where she was the 2nd Overall in the race, and the Duck Dash 5K (20:00) where she was 3rd Overall make her truly elite!!
She’s building quite a running resume, as she became a 2-time Indoor National Champ (800m. and 1,600m.) in Birmingham in February, 2023.

The senior from Cedartown set a COURSE RECORD of 16:47 at the recent Leprechaun-a-thon 5K in Rome, GA on March 18th. Dalton has signed a scholarship to run collegiately and is ready to run ‘at the next level.’
Jan. 15, 2023 nine Jr. Elite athletes traveled to Clemson University for an Indoor Track Meet.
